HARMOVANT

Policies

Terms of Use, Subscription and Refunds, Activation and License, Privacy and Requirements for Live Rack. Last updated: October 29, 2026. In case of doubt, the Brazilian Portuguese version prevails.

1. Terms of Use

By installing or using Live Rack (the "Software"), you agree to these terms with Harmovant Audio Technology, CNPJ 67.313.652/0001-57 ("Harmovant").

1.1 License. Harmovant grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software while your subscription is active, on one Mac at a time. The Software is licensed, not sold.

1.2 What is not allowed.

  • Copying, reselling, renting, sublicensing or distributing the Software.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the Software, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Circumventing, disabling or bypassing activation, the license or any technical protection.
  • Sharing your account or license with other people.

1.3 Third-party plugins and content. The Software loads AU and VST3 plugins that you install and license yourself. Harmovant does not provide these plugins and is not responsible for them. Each plugin is used under its manufacturer's license. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

1.4 Live use and liability. The Software is a professional tool. You are responsible for testing your setup before each performance, keeping copies of your shows and having a backup plan. To the extent permitted by law, Harmovant is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or event interruption. Harmovant's total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

1.5 Updates. Subscribers receive the updates released during their subscription. Features may be changed or removed, with prior notice when they affect the main use.

1.6 Termination. The license ends when the subscription ends or if these terms are breached. When it ends, you must stop using the Software. Your show files remain yours.

1.7 Governing law. The laws of Brazil apply. The courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.

2. Subscription, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Terms

The Software is sold only as a monthly or annual subscription, renewed automatically until you cancel.

2.1 Billing and prices. Prices are set in US dollars (US$34.90 per month on the monthly plan; US$27.90 per month on the annual plan, billed US$334.80 per year). Payment is by credit card only, from any country, processed by Stripe and charged in US dollars. For cards issued outside the United States, the conversion to the card's currency is made by the issuing bank, which may charge fees and taxes (in Brazil, IOF on international purchases). The annual plan is charged in a single payment, with no installments. The amount in US dollars and the charge date are shown before you confirm.

2.2 Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same amount in US dollars, unless a price change is announced at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the renewal. After each successful charge, we send you a confirmation e-mail with the amount and the receipt.

2.3 Cancellation. Cancel at any time in My account. Access continues until the end of the period already paid, and there is no new charge.

2.4 Try before you pay. The 14-day free trial exists so you can evaluate the Software before any payment. Cancel by day 14 and nothing is charged.

2.5 Refunds. Because the Software can be tried free of charge for 14 days before any charge, amounts already charged are not refunded, except where required by law. You can cancel at any time and keep using the Software until the end of the period already paid.

2.6 Failed payment. The charge is attempted on the due date. If it fails, you receive an e-mail the same day to try again or change your payment method, and further automatic attempts are made over the following days. If payment is not made within 3 days of the due date, the license is suspended: the Software stops opening until payment is settled. Once you pay, the license is restored immediately, with your shows and settings.

2.7 Show in progress. The Software never cuts audio because of the license. If the subscription expires while the app is open, it keeps running until it is closed and only shows a notice.

2.8 Free trial. Each person and each Mac is entitled to a single 14-day free trial, with every feature. To start the trial you must add a credit card (verified with a small authorization that is reversed); nothing is charged that day. If you do not cancel by day 14, the first charge for the chosen plan happens automatically on day 15, and the subscription then renews on its own. We e-mail you a reminder at least 7 days before that charge, with the date, the amount and a link to cancel. Creating another account, reinstalling the Software or erasing the Mac does not unlock a new trial. The trial requires internet to start and does not work on virtual machines.

2.9 Deletion for inactivity. An account without an active license for 6 months (subscription cancelled or suspended for non-payment) is deleted automatically. We notify you by e-mail 30 days and 7 days before. Deletion erases your personal data and registered Macs; we keep only the payment records the law requires. After that you can create a new account with the same e-mail, without a new free trial.

3. Activation and License Policy

Each subscription activates the Software on one Mac at a time. The activated Mac works without internet until the end of the paid period plus 3 days of grace.

3.1 Activation. You activate a Mac by signing in to your account in the Software. Activation links the license to that Mac through a technical identifier of the device, which cannot identify you outside our system.

3.2 Changing Macs. Deactivate the old Mac in My account or in Setup › License and sign in on the new Mac. Signing in on the new Mac without deactivating the old one also transfers the license.

3.3 Offline use. Once activated, the Software works without internet until the date shown in Setup › License. When the Mac goes online, the license renews automatically. If the offline period ends, the Software asks for a connection to continue.

3.4 Previous Mac. A Mac deactivated while offline keeps working only until the end of the offline period it already had, and then stops on its own.

3.5 Abuse. Repeated Mac changes in a short time, simultaneous use or attempts to bypass the license may lead to account suspension, after notice by e-mail.

3.6 System clock. The Software checks the Mac's date. Setting the clock back to extend the offline period invalidates the license until the next connection.

4. Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to sell, activate and support the Software, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018). Audio and show files never leave your Mac.
